It is interesting as well as instructive to note the arrangement of the last nine books of the New Testament. A careful balance is maintained through the grouping of the books of Hebrews, James, Peter, John, Jude and Revelation. While Hebrews emphasises faith, James immediately follows it with emphasis on good works. Whereas the first epistle of Peter follows as an epistle of future hope, his second epistle encourages present growth in grace. Besides, the three epistles of John have their emphasis on love.
